About The Position

This role will be responsible for delivering excellent and efficient service by assisting the Account Manager(s) with the daily management of a group of accounts. The Account Manager Assistant has an impact on agency success by assisting in achievement of client retention goals, effectively and consistently providing client service, and fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, trust, respect and teamwork while focusing on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty License for required state/s.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Research and respond to client issues such as billing, eligibility and escalated claims, with the appropriate carriers and/or vendors in order to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Act as back-up to the account manager.
  • Responsible for composing and responding to correspondence from clients and carriers via letters and email in a professional and grammatically correct manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely tracking and servicing documentation through agency management and document systems including profile/scan of open enrollment materials and marketing/renewal presentations, plan renewal decisions and entry of participation count utilizes for accurate commission estimates.
  • Utilize activity logs in the agency management system to manage completion of tasks.
  • Prepare open enrollment form spreadsheets, review enrollment forms, assist with implementation documents for submission to carrier, and post enrollment data audits.
  • Follow the agency workflows and procedures to avoid Errors and Omissions.
  • Prepare renewal and new business presentation binders with content guided by the account manager as well as required documentation for the client open enrollment process.
