About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a high-performing Account Leader to join our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA) team in Canada. In this pivotal role, you will own the client strategy and drive profitable growth by diversifying and expanding our client portfolio. As the primary relationship manager, you will develop and execute annual business plans, build and maintain C-suite level relationships, and create true partnerships with our clients—ensuring an active presence at all client events and engagements. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and operational excellence. You will be empowered to manage client account profitability, drive organic growth, and maximize client margins by overseeing investments and pursuits. Your expertise in major projects operations and delivery will support Arcadis' reputation for delivering innovative, high-value solutions, while your focus on service diversification and thought leadership will help secure new opportunities and expand our share of wallet with key clients.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to develop client strategies, annual business plans, and build C-suite level relationships
  • Strong experience managing client account profitability, investments, and driving organic growth and client margins
  • Advanced skills in service diversification, opportunity development, and securing new work within existing client portfolios
  • Strong leadership capability, inspiring multi-disciplinary teams and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement client strategies and business plans, working to build and sustain robust partnerships at the highest levels within client organizations.
  • Ensure Arcadis maintains an active presence at client events, positioning us as a trusted advisor and thought leader through continuous engagement and the presentation of cutting-edge R&D and subject matter expertise.
  • Drive profitable growth by managing all aspects of client account profitability, including cost of sales, investments, and pursuits.
  • Lead efforts to increase client NOI, drive organic growth, and approve investments in client accounts.
  • Diversification of the client portfolio will be a key focus, as you identify and secure new opportunities, introduce a broader suite of Arcadis services, and mine for additional growth potential within existing relationships.
  • Lead a client success team with a strong emphasis on health, safety, and well-being, actively mentor and guide account leaders, and foster an inclusive and collaborative environment across sector and service teams.
  • Manage risk and compliance in line with the Arcadis risk control framework, ensuring all activities adhere to company risk appetite, policies, and procedures.
  • Support Program Directors in achieving client margin targets, assist Sector Executives in expanding client networks, and help identify emerging client needs to inform new service offerings.
  • Embody the Arcadis leadership profile—demonstrating curiosity, driving success, igniting passion, and leveraging advanced market insights and relationship-building skills to grow our client base and strengthen our market position.
