About The Position

The Lede Company, a full-service communications, strategy, and impact consulting firm specializing in brand, corporate, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, is seeking a creative and driven Account Executive with expertise in Fashion and Lifestyle to join our Brand team in New York. With dedicated divisions in Brand, Talent, Music, Strategic Communications, Content, Events, Brand Partnerships, and Social Impact, we help clients advance business and social outcomes through innovative storytelling, media relations, strategic campaigns, and impactful partnerships. Our integrated approach combines deep industry expertise, strong relationships, and strategic thinking to consistently exceed client expectations and deliver measurable results. The Account Executive will support the day-to-day execution of public relations activities across a portfolio of Fashion and Lifestyle clients. This individual will assist with media outreach, research, reporting, client materials, and general account coordination across approximately 5 to 6 retainer accounts and/or projects. Working under the direction of senior team members, they will help keep projects organized, track deadlines, and support the client’s daily needs.

Requirements

• 3 years of PR and influencer experience, preferably agency-side in fashion and lifestyle
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Marketing
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments within the organization
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing

Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch product-focused stories to media, conduct follow-ups and help secure consistent coverage for clients
• Support the execution of client programs and campaigns, working closely with senior team members to deliver against established goals
• Draft, proofread and edit PR materials, including pitches, press releases, media alerts and client communications
• Work alongside coordinators and assistants to ensure client agendas, recap reports, media clips and other materials are accurate and completed on time
• Participate in client calls and communications, assist with day-to-day requests and build familiarity with client priorities
• Contribute ideas for media outreach, influencer targets, creative seeding and other opportunities
• Support event planning and execution, including guest list development, media and influencer outreach, logistics and onsite responsibilities
• Assist with monthly, project and event reporting, including tracking results, gathering coverage and contributing to client recaps
