Account Executive - Texas

KineticDallas, TX
Remote

About The Position

The Account Executive role is responsible for converting awareness of and demand for advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) maintenance and calibrations into Kinetic service revenue. The AE is an outgoing, trustworthy, goal-oriented partner to car dealerships, collision shops, and fleet operators, whose days are spent satisfying the demands of their own customers, insurance approvals, schedules, and technical complexity. Your job is to position Kinetic as a valuable and indispensable partner and to help these shops get customer cars calibrated accurately, quickly, and at a predictable cost.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales or account management capacity in software, hardware, or services, preferably in the automotive industry or an industry whose focus areas, customer profiles, and sales cycles are broadly similar to automotive
  • A referencable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a hunter-style role
  • Deep familiarity with the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston markets and a ready-to-use ‘Rolodex’ of regional decision-makers
  • Ability to confidently discuss technology features and benefits in the automotive service lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with a knack for translating complex technical benefits into ROI-driven business cases for shop owners that result in trials and scaled service rollouts

Nice To Haves

  • Natural desire to understand a customer’s challenges and how Kinetic’s AI-enabled robotics services, integrated estimatics, and scheduling software can address them
  • Authenticity and reliability to win over skeptical traditionalists in the automotive service world
  • An understanding that, while technology moves fast, the sales cycle for fleet operators, dealerships, and shop operators requires persistent follow-up and warm nurturing of relationships
  • A motivation to set and hit targets and be an influential, early commercial team member of a fast-growing, category-defining tech company
  • Ability to pivot your energy from a high-level pitch to an owner/general manager to a casual conversation with a production manager, estimator, or technician

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new business opportunities within the car dealership and collision centers segments across the Texas territory -- largely in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston metros to start -- to meet or exceed quarterly quota
  • Use existing industry relationships to bypass gatekeepers and establish Kinetic as the premier ADAS calibration partner
  • Conduct on-site demonstrations and present materials that highlight Kinetic’s speed, reliability, transparency, and precision compared to current methods
  • Manage the entire sales process from cold outreach and lead generation to contract signing and handoff to customer success and operations teams
  • Represent Kinetic’s technology-forward identity at local industry events and trade shows to build a consistent lead funnel

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and incentive stock options (ISOs)
  • Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Health savings account (HSA) available with company contribution
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
  • Flexible time-off policy and paid holidays
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
