About The Position

The Account Executive supports the Broker in managing and servicing a commercial casualty book of business throughout the policy lifecycle. This role is responsible for handling post-bind servicing activities, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, renewals, and account maintenance, while delivering exceptional service to retail broker partners and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing assigned accounts in a fast-paced brokerage environment.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license
  • 2+ years of commercial insurance experience within a brokerage, retail agency, wholesale brokerage, or carrier environment.
  • Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, renewals, or account maintenance activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and independently maintain an assigned book of business.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and data management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting a commercial casualty book of business.
  • Experience working for a retail broker/agency and interacting directly with retail broker partners.
  • California casualty experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day servicing of assigned accounts, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, and account maintenance activities.
  • Support the Broker by preparing accounts for new business and renewal opportunities, including renewal solicitations for smaller accounts.
  • Review policy documents, endorsements, invoices, and other account documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for service-related inquiries from retail brokers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate account information and documentation within internal systems while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
  • Monitor bound accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure policies are serviced efficiently and on time.
  • Partner with Premium Accounting and other internal departments to resolve invoicing discrepancies and assist with notices of cancellation as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with brokers, retail partners, and internal stakeholders to support client retention and growth objectives.
  • Generate reports and provide account-related updates to support effective management of the assigned book of business.
  • Effectively manage a high volume of responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting service standards.
