About The Position

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our dynamic real estate team. In a highly competitive real estate market, you'll be responsible for working with the team to build brand awareness by promoting your client's properties or portfolio, its unique and special offerings, specific deals or listings, and milestones through thoughtfully crafted pitches, partnerships, creative ideas, event execution, social media integration and/or marketing amplification, as well as thought leadership opportunities including panels, awards and conferences. On a day-to-day basis, you will work with clients and the team to identify industry and market trends to secure quality media placements that align with your client’s goals.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in related field
  • Minimum 2 years of public relations experience in representing real estate clients; agency experience a plus
  • Located within commuting distance to NYC for client meetings, events, new business, etc. if/when needed
  • Possesses knowledge in working with luxury lifestyle, real estate, trade, architecture and design media
  • Proactive and highly motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Able to collaborate and work within a team environment
  • Effectively manages up to leadership, communicating in a solution-oriented manner
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor pitches and messaging for different audiences and media outlets
  • Comfortable participating in client meetings and presenting ideas, updates, and recommendations
  • Proficiency using Muck Rack, Google (Alerts and Analytics), Talkwalker, MS applications, news wire services and server applications such as SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for media and clients
  • Manage daily administrative activities on accounts including but not limited to media database maintenance and list building, reporting, media monitoring, clip emails, trend newsletters, etc.
  • Regularly draft pitches, press releases, media alerts, biographies, and media kit collateral
  • Proactively suggest compelling ideas for client coverage, both feature and trend stories
  • Secure consistent and quality media placements through proactive and reactive pitching
  • Develop and maintain strong media relationships with journalists and social media influencers, especially in the real estate, design, architecture, and luxury lifestyle verticals
  • Identify award and speaking opportunities that align with the client’s goals and audience
  • Support/assist in PR strategies and timelines including creative and integrated PR initiatives
  • Support social and/or influencer work including vetting influencer collaborations that could be fruitful for client
  • Prepare and present meeting agendas, notes and reports
  • Maintain client relations through meetings, conference calls, events and general contact
  • Consume local, regional, national, trade (real estate), design and lifestyle news on a daily basis and stay up to speed on current news and trends
