About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Florence, SC territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity focused on helping Grand Canyon University students succeed. The role involves identifying and implementing event/activity plans, building awareness of online academic programs, and driving inquiry generation. The Account Executive will shape high-impact partnerships, conduct informational presentations, and provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners. This is a remote role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work, critical thinking, and guiding students through the admissions process for a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone).
• Well developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
• Clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
• Building awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory.
• Executing daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through a variety of mediums.
• Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Using out-of-the-box critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process.
• Guiding students on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
