This individual will provide technical and strategic support to our Producers and will provide consultation and technical support as the first point of contact for customers. Arrowhead’s Manufactured Housing Program offers Property & Liability for manufactured home communities, dealers, and RV parks, with enhanced coverage for the industry’s unique exposures. This program is accessed through contracted Independent Insurance Brokers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two to five years of commercial insurance or managing general agency experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License (is required within 90 days of hire).
  • Understanding of general insurance processing functions.
  • Broad understanding of insurance policy, forms, and applications.
  • Knowledge of multi-line Property and Casualty coverage and products.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks and assignments in the required timeframes.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license and possess an acceptable motor vehicle record at the time of hire and periodically thereafter.
  • Maintain the minimum acceptable insurance coverages and limits as defined by Arrowhead/Brown & Brown.

Nice To Haves

  • Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred
  • AMS360 knowledge preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares proposals to meet coverage requirements for agents/brokers’ risks.
  • Provides advice and recommendations to Producers and agents/brokers based on specific and technical knowledge of insurance markets and products.
  • Consults with agents/brokers to evaluate their needs and determine appropriate coverage.
  • Negotiates policy terms and coverage with the carrier and agent/broker.
  • Sets up policy files within established format.
  • Reviews policies for accuracy.
  • Enters and maintains data in AMS360 computer system.
  • Sets up and maintains policy renewal system.
  • Submits claims and policy changes.
  • Invoices premium in management system for carrier payments and collections of payments.
  • Submits all surplus lines filing requests to appropriate parties.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships by meeting with brokers.
  • Assist Profit Center in reviewing/qualifying new business submissions as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
