About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Prescott, AZ territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity focused on helping Grand Canyon University students succeed. The role involves promoting online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, driving inquiry generation, and providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners. It is a work-from-home role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work, critical thinking, and a focus on guiding students through the admissions process and towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; willingness to volunteer for new challenges and take ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Ability to travel extensively within the territory.
• Some evening and/or weekend availability may be required for events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must live in or near Prescott, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
• Building awareness of online academic programs for education, healthcare, and business.
• Driving inquiry generation.
• Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory.
• Executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
• Championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process.
• Guiding students on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
