About The Position

Arjo is seeking a strong sales professional to call on Acute Care medical facilities in the Northeast. Based in the Philadelphia-area, this position will also cover an east-Pennsylvania territory that runs north to Scranton and west to Lancaster; however, most of the sales activity will be in Philadelphia-area hospitals. The selected candidate will drive sales of Arjo’s key product categories: Therapeutic Surfaces & Medical Beds (TSMB) and Patient Mobility/Safety Equipment. The primary objective of this position is to achieve revenue goals and long-term account growth that aligns with Arjo’s strategic plans while maintaining positive relationships with the customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in medical sales. (HS Diploma required)
  • At least 2 years of successful and documented medical sale experience; strong preference for sales into acute care facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience selling capital equipment (medical device preferred).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, and/or other sales software.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, presentation.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote, and sell Arjo products/services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Achieve sales goals and key performance indicators within expected timeframes.
  • Create new sales opportunities through regular visits, customer engagements, facility needs analysis, and lead qualification.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best results.
  • Manage and perform appropriate product demonstrations for sales opportunities and in-service training.
  • Document all planned activities, sales call logs, account information, sales opportunities, and quotes through the CRM system.
