About The Position

This role involves Audio Visual inside sales for the Knoxville region, focusing on identifying target opportunities, contacting and following up on potential leads, and increasing revenue. The Account Executive is accountable to the Director of Sales & Marketing, with secondary accountability to other senior management team members and customers. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in business-to-business sales, particularly within the hospitality industry, and knowledge of professional audio, video, and lighting equipment and production services. The role also includes providing technical support as needed at the Knoxville Convention Center.

Requirements

• Experienced hospitality salesperson with demonstrated success in business-to-business sales.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Knowledge/experience in professional audio, video, lighting equipment and production services.
• Maintain a proper professional appearance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with quick turnaround time.
• Ability to work as part of a partnership team and handle all types of personalities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, contact and convert Knoxville Convention Center sales leads into quality clients.
• Identify, contact and convert Knoxville region sales leads into quality clients.
• Pursue additional venues within the Knoxville region, including hotels and event centers.
• Pursue target markets with enthusiasm and focus.
• Represent the company with integrity and purpose.
• Understand industry trends to identify potential opportunities for future company growth.
• Join Weekly Sales Meetings & Report results to management weekly (Every Monday).
• Utilize CRM to update the pipeline on upcoming sales (larger events).
• Technical Support Roles as needed at Knoxville Convention Center.
