We are seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team and exciting commercial furniture industry. The individual in this role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers and manage them through our purchase flow from start to finish. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Possess organizational and prioritization skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and willing to take initiative
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be available to work after hours and weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of experience in project management, account management, and/or contract furniture design and specification is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Foster and develop client relationships, both new and existing.
  • Conduct quarterly follow ups with current clients.
  • Work with our internal team to continue to protect company profitability and provide appropriate customer solutions.
  • Qualify leads into potential customers and industry influencers, i.e. designers, real estate professionals, project managers, etc.
  • Make persuasive presentations to customers on dealership’s products and services.
  • Work in conjunction with dealership personnel (designers, customer service representatives, project managers, etc.) to generate pricing and solutions for customers.
  • Work with dealer service department to develop service contracts as necessary for installation or day two services.
  • Responsible for knowledge around and selling the full range of dealership’s products and services to customer.
  • Present new products and services to customer, as well as expose customer to new opportunities to purchase goods and services from dealership.
  • Meet yearly sales and margin goals.
  • Work with organizational partners and accountable team to manage workload expectations in conjunction with team members.
  • Provide timely reports on sales forecasts and new leads as required.
  • Attend training sessions as determined by the dealership.
  • Have working knowledge of dealership’s product lines including product features, application, technical capabilities, specification, etc.
  • Function as customer advocate for internal order fulfillment performance and service products
  • Build a strong understanding of issues affecting the office environment (i.e. ergonomics, technology integration and use, office productivity, etc.) and general business trends.
