Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in freight brokerage within the logistics industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of freight transportation, carrier operations, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with freight brokerage software and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts to secure profitable freight deals.
  • Coordinate and manage the entire freight shipment process from origin to destination.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely and safe delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the transportation process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all freight transactions and communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
