About The Position

As an Account Executive, you'll build and nurture client relationships to drive revenue growth through sales of HVAC, plumbing, energy services, and controls services for commercial and industrial facilities. Identify opportunities, present tailored solutions, and close deals on, retrofits, and new installations—working with decision-makers to deliver sustainable, efficient building performance. Requirements

  • 5+ years in sales/business development for HVAC, plumbing, mechanical services, or related B2B field; proven track record of quota attainment.
  • Sales techniques, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), proposal writing.
  • Client relationship management, negotiation, product knowledge (HVAC/controls).
  • Presentation skills, pipeline management, market analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in commercial mechanical services.
  • Manage full sales cycle: needs assessment, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Maintain and expand existing accounts through upselling, funding programs, and relationship management.
  • Collaborate with operations, preconstruction to ensure solution delivery meets client expectations.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports to highlight value and ROI.
  • Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Stay current on industry trends, energy efficiency, and sustainability solutions.
