About The Position

LogistixIQ is looking for an Account Executive who can turn real operational challenges into clear, practical service solutions. You will own the sales process from the first conversation through close, helping oilfield, dry bulk, and industrial customers determine where LogistixIQ can take work off their teams, strengthen day-to-day logistics execution, and improve visibility, freight control, and billing accuracy. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building relationships, asking smart questions, and shaping the right level of operational support—from targeted freight audit and logistics services to fully managed execution, with technology enabling the work. You will keep a healthy pipeline, work closely with operations and other internal teams, and deliver against your revenue goals without losing sight of what matters to the customer.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of success in business-to-business sales or business development.
  • A track record of creating opportunities, managing a pipeline, and closing new business.
  • The curiosity to understand how a customer’s operation really works and the judgment to recommend the right solution.
  • The ability to explain managed services, operational processes, and supporting technology in clear, practical terms.
  • Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • A relationship-first approach and the confidence to work with owners, operators, field leaders, and enterprise decision-makers.
  • The organization and follow-through to manage multiple opportunities, keep commitments, and work independently.
  • The drive to hit near-term goals while building customer relationships that last.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling managed services, outsourced operations, logistics services, or other consultative solutions is preferred; familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable CRM is helpful.
  • Experience in oil and gas, trucking, logistics, dry bulk, construction materials, mining, or another field-based operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline across assigned markets and accounts.
  • Create new opportunities through thoughtful outreach, referrals, industry events, and your professional network.
  • Learn how each customer moves materials today, where the process breaks down, and what those gaps cost the operation.
  • Connect customer needs to the right LogistixIQ service model, whether they need help with a specific logistics function or want LogistixIQ to manage execution on their behalf.
  • Show how managed dispatch, freight audit, carrier coordination, real-time visibility, and performance reporting can reduce downtime, control costs, and ease the administrative burden on customer teams.
  • Lead clear, relevant solution discussions and presentations that show how LogistixIQ will support the customer’s operation, including the people, process, service scope, and technology involved.
  • Own each opportunity from qualification and solution fit through service scoping, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders in oil and gas, trucking, dry bulk, aggregate, construction, mining, and industrial materials.
  • Bring operations and other internal experts into the conversation early, set clear expectations, and make the path from sale to service delivery straightforward for the customer.
  • Keep accounts, activities, pipeline stages, next steps, and forecasts current in HubSpot™.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue, activity, and pipeline goals.
  • Give sales leadership a clear view of deal progress, forecast changes, competitive activity, and potential roadblocks.
  • Partner with operations, implementation, customer success, product, marketing, sales leadership, and the VP of Partners and Strategy to build a workable service plan, win the right business, and set customers up for a smooth launch.
  • Bring customer feedback and field insight back to the team so we can keep improving our solutions and message.
  • Stay current on the operational, regulatory, and technology issues shaping bulk field logistics.
  • Represent LogistixIQ at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Travel approximately 40% to meet customers where the work happens.
  • Build a practical account plan around your territory, target markets, and revenue goals.
  • Keep prospecting and follow-up moving so the pipeline stays healthy.
  • Use our sales process, messaging, CRM, and reporting tools consistently while bringing your own judgment to each conversation.
  • Share what is working, learn from the team, and contribute to a straightforward, collaborative sales culture.
