This is a new business development position, otherwise known as outside sales. Our 35-year-old, family-owned company continues to grow and has an opening for a Business Account Executive that will be responsible for acquiring and supporting the marketing, print & sign needs of business-to-business clients. Some of the activities of the position include qualifying leads, sales appointments, proposal presentations and follow up. The ability to use technology including computers, the internet, social media, and email are integral to the role. You will be required to make phone calls to people you do not know, you must be willing to call and call and call again. Success in this position will require you to create business conversations with complete strangers; many of whom won’t want to talk to you, it is not easy. The right candidate has experience in B2B sales, new account development and account management. Important traits will include being energetic, positive, self-motivated, detailed and a strong people person. Background in print, marketing, signage, direct mail, or promotional products is a plus.
