About The Position

We're looking to hire our first Founding Account Executive who is hungry, competitive, and ready to own a book of revenue from day one. This is a quota-carrying, high-impact sales role — you'll drive new business, close deals, and grow existing accounts, with a growth path toward leading revenue operations as the team scales. If you love the hunt, thrive on hitting (and beating) numbers, and want your work to directly determine the company's trajectory, this role is for you. You'll be the person clients trust to understand their goals and the person internally who turns that trust into signed contracts and expanding revenue. Quander values curiosity, ownership, and a bias toward action, offering employees the chance to shape both our go-to-market motion and the broader AI ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales, business development, or account executive role (agency, SaaS, or e-commerce preferred)
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets, or strong transferable experience (e.g., agency new business, high-stakes client pitching)
  • Comfortable owning a full sales cycle, including negotiation and closing
  • Strong proficiency with CRM and pipeline management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with data and able to translate performance reports into a sales narrative

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing company is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Own a quota and be accountable for hitting it.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and your own network.
  • Run the full sales cycle — discovery, demo/pitch, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Develop a sharp point of view on prospect needs and tailor pitches to their goals.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in line with company guidelines.
  • Keep pipeline and forecast data current and accurate in the CRM.
  • Represent Quander's offering with authority in every conversation, from first touch to signature.
  • Own the ongoing relationship for closed accounts, with an eye toward upsell, cross-sell, and renewal — not day-to-day service delivery.
  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities by staying close to client goals, usage, and results.
  • Monitor account health and flag risk early, looping in the right internal partner before it becomes a churn problem.
  • Track account performance and tie it back to revenue outcomes you can point to in your pipeline.
  • Partner with creative/production and operations to make sure what you sold gets delivered on time and on-brief — you're the client's advocate internally, not the production manager.
  • Keep deal and account information clean and up to date so leadership has real visibility into pipeline and revenue.
  • Flag recurring objections, pricing friction, or process gaps to leadership and help shape fixes to the sales motion.
  • Support distribution of client and company content where it helps move deals or accounts forward — sharing results, case studies, and proof points with prospects and clients at the right moments in the sales cycle.
  • Bring a sales-informed perspective to what's working and what isn't across the GTM motion.
  • If something in the sales process, handoff, or client experience is costing you deals or time, speak up with a fix, not just a complaint.

Benefits

  • Base salary: up to $120,000 (depending on experience), plus uncapped commission/OTE
  • Meaningful equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Snacks and drinks at the office
