About The Position

Samsung HME America (Healthcare and Medical Equipment) is Samsung’s U.S. medical imaging organization, delivering advanced diagnostic solutions across Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, and Computed Tomography. We lead nationwide sales, marketing, service, and distribution of Samsung’s imaging technologies, partnering with healthcare providers to strengthen diagnostic capabilities, streamline clinical workflows, and support better patient care. Samsung HME America also serves as the global manufacturing center for Samsung’s mobile Computed Tomography (mCT) business, leading the development of advanced CT systems used by healthcare providers worldwide. Requirements

  • 3-4 years of direct sales experience required, preferably selling large capital medical equipment into academic medical centers, community hospitals, IDNs, and/or outpatient specialty facilities; business-to-business experience preferred
  • You must have a documentable track record in successful selling and the ability identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Ability to direct and influence teams
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor/contractor management
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Must be highly motivated, possess leadership skills, and have the ability to contribute to the company’s development.
  • Must be able to handle more than one project and task in unison
  • Ability to act in an autonomous role with little, if any, management direction
  • Budget, expense, and resource management experience required
  • Customer focused and oriented
  • Very detailed and organized
  • Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce.
  • You must be comfortable with technology, be able to present using a laptop, tablet, or via the web.
  • Must be able demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome
  • Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management
  • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record are mandatory, and background and drug testing (pre- and post-employment) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or other related discipline preferred
  • Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow Samsung’s Engineered Sales Process to drive sales across an assigned multi-state territory — academic medical centers, community hospitals, IDNs, and outpatient specialized care facilities — and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for assigned and acquired products as required
  • Coordinate with Customer Service regarding client issues to ensure fast and accurate resolution
  • Call on and communicate value propositions effectively to a broad range of stakeholders — including physicians, hospital and service-line administrators, medical physicists, technologists, clinical engineering, materials management, and supply chain — to create awareness of and drive demand for the company's products
  • Complete pre and post-sales technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions
  • Prepare and present detailed technical proposals including on-site product demonstrations (sometimes in the presence of patients and patient family members) and implement a customer needs plan to assure potential sale is feasible within cost, time and environment constraints
  • Conduct in-services, seminars, and demonstrations as necessary to groups of professionals
  • Engage with confidence and clinical credibility across multiple physician subspecialties — including Neurosurgeons, Neuroradiologists, Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Oncologists, and Radiation Therapists — tailoring the clinical and economic value proposition to each audience
  • Learn the company's products as well as the competitor's products to better promote the company's product line
