About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Manhattan, NY territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity within a rapidly growing educational service company that supports the post-secondary education sector. The role involves helping Grand Canyon University students succeed by guiding them through the admissions process and supporting their online learning experience. The position is remote with ambitious targets and requires independent work and critical thinking. New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, written, phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; willingness to volunteer for new challenges and take ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Using passion for serving others to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
• Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guiding them towards a successful online learning experience.
