Account Executives drive the new business sales process, start to finish. This is primarily a hunter sales role. You’ll also work with warm prospects generated from our Marketing and Community Outreach programs, as well as your personal business development initiative to build your pipeline. We are a fast moving business and expect AEs to close 8-10 deals per quarter. Since our target customers are often technical (CTOs, Platform Engineers, Developers, and CISOs), nearly all sales engagements will involve technical questions and deep technical discovery. AEs are expected to develop expertise in the industry and product, while working closely with sales engineers. Ultimately the AE owns qualification to close (including accurate forecasting) of all opportunities. You will report directly to the Director of Sales and can work remotely. And since we are growing rapidly, you will have a direct hand in shaping the sales process, messaging and recipe for success. This is a role for someone to make a difference, not just make a number.
