About The Position

The Account Executive will focus on commercial business and serves as a key liaison between clients and insurance providers, ensuring tailored risk management solutions that meet client needs. This role involves managing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service to foster long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to client management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or related insurance industry role.
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty commercial insurance products.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, or related field.
  • Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM.
  • Experience working with specialized insurance lines (e.g. financial lines, reinsurance, or niche markets).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Develop and implement customized insurance solutions based on client risk profiles and business objectives
  • Create underwriting submissions to submit to the market and collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate competitive terms and coverage options.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotes, and policy renewals to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policies, and transactions in CRM systems.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in conjunction with other colleagues to expand the client base and increase revenue leveraging the company’s resources, products, and services.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless policy administration, compliance, and claims support.
  • Participate in industry events and professional development to stay current with insurance products and best practices.
