About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Bellevue, WA and surrounding territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity where you will play an integral role in providing Grand Canyon University students the roadmap for success from application through to completion of the first few classes. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory, building awareness of online academic programs, and driving inquiry generation. You will also shape high impact partnerships and provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums. This is a community-based role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work and critical thinking to support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
  • Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone).
  • Well developed listening skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
  • Clean driving record and ability to use your personal vehicle.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Over the past 3+ years, demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management.
  • Relevant industry related professional experience.
  • Experience working with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
  • Building awareness of online academic programs for education, healthcare and business and drive inquiry generation.
  • Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory.
  • Executing daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
  • Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through a variety of mediums.
  • Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
  • Using out-of-the-box critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, guiding them on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
