About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the St. Louis, MO territory. This is a unique community-based role focused on helping non-traditional Grand Canyon University students succeed through quality education. The Account Executive will play an integral role in guiding students from application through the completion of their first few classes. The role involves identifying and implementing event/activity plans, building awareness of online academic programs, shaping partnerships, and providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, families, and partners. It requires independent work, critical thinking, and a passion for education.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
  • Clear communication skills (in person, written, and phone).
  • Well-developed listening skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to use personal vehicle for travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
  • Building awareness of online academic programs for education, healthcare, and business and drive inquiry generation.
  • Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory.
  • Executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
  • Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through a variety of mediums.
  • Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
  • Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process.
  • Guiding students on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
