About The Position

Ultimo builds enterprise asset management (EAM) software for organizations where physical assets sit at the core of operations — utilities, energy providers, logistics networks, and industrial businesses. This is mission-critical software. It supports uptime, compliance, asset performance, and operational reliability. In the Benelux region, Ultimo has strong brand recognition and a growing install base of commercial customers. The opportunity now is to expand those relationships further — increasing adoption across sites, business units, and use cases, particularly across Utilities, Energy, and Logistics. We are hiring an Account Executive – Strategic Accounts to focus on growing existing customers in this segment. Ultimo is deliberately strengthening its commercial engine — moving from reactive engagement to proactive, value-led account growth. In the commercial segment, this means: Expanding relationships within existing customers, Engaging operational and maintenance leaders earlier, Elevating conversations from tooling to business impact, Driving structured, long-term account growth. For the right AE, this is an opportunity to: Own and grow an existing customer portfolio, Build meaningful relationships with real impact, Operate with autonomy, ownership, and visibility, Contribute directly to regional growth.

Requirements

  • Proven success in account growth, expansion, or install base sales
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or software sales environments
  • Strong account planning and relationship management capability
  • Ability to identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Confidence engaging operational and technical stakeholders
  • Structured pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Commercial resilience, ownership, and drive
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Utilities, Energy, Logistics, or asset-intensive industries is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing commercial accounts across Utilities, Energy, and Logistics in Benelux
  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities across sites, business units, and use cases
  • Lead upsell and cross-sell opportunities end-to-end
  • Build and deepen relationships with operational leaders, maintenance teams, and decision-makers
  • Position Ultimo through value-led, consultative sales conversations
  • Drive increased adoption and long-term customer value
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Product teams
  • Create growth within existing accounts, not waiting for demand
  • Operate with independence and commercial judgement
