About The Position

ASD is hiring an Account Executive (or Senior Account Executive, depending on experience) to sell technology integration services and custom-engineered solutions to mid-to-large enterprise businesses. This position carries no defined geographic territory, and the successful candidate will prospect, close, and quarterback opportunities across multiple internal and external stakeholders throughout the full client lifecycle, wherever those opportunities arise. Final leveling and corresponding compensation will be determined based on the candidate's sales experience, industry background, and vertical expertise.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B technology/solutions sales experience for Account Executive level; 5+ years with a proven track record of quota over-achievement on enterprise deals for Senior Account Executive level.
  • Exceptional prospecting and closing skills; familiar with a 3–6 month sales cycle.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and self-motivated; thrives with a little healthy competition.
  • Strong, professional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state (approximate travel is 0–4 overnight trips per month).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in one or more of ASD's core technology solution areas (access control, surveillance, structured cabling, audiovisual, wireless, etc.).
  • Commercial construction experience, including new builds, renovations, and retrofits.
  • Existing book of business or industry relationships that translate to enterprise opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • BICSI RCDD certification.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize ASD's tech stack/CRM to develop a healthy, qualified pipeline and accurately forecast deals.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships with enterprise accounts.
  • Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives, and needs, and communicate those findings to relevant stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Set proper customer expectations consistent with ASD's service offerings and delivery potential.
  • Coordinate the creation, review, and hand-off of proposals and scopes of work.
  • Understand, establish, and promote relationships with OEMs, channel partners, vendors, and other strategic partners.
  • Quarterback opportunities throughout the full client lifecycle, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales quota.
