Account Executive – Retail Media

About The Position

As Account Executive Retail Media, you will be instrumental in building the Go-To-Market (GTM) foundation of our new Media organization. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing deals with ad partners across various categories. You will develop and execute a GTM strategy that enables partners to see value and grow investment in our ecosystem. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of digital media, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building something from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground floor to develop new Retail Media offerings on a global scale. You will be an instrumental part of defining how we work with our partners to build trust and investment in our ecosystem. This high visibility role will collaborate cross functionally and with executive leadership to define and implement GTM strategies, identify and maximize opportunities for growth, as well develop our client relationships. You will become a trusted advisor to our clients, directly shaping their success and enabling their business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in media, advertising, or retail.
  • Launched a media business or product in a sales / client facing capacity in the US
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented approach.
  • Established network of clients and potential brand and / or agency partners

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sell side digital media a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy: Identify target ad partners, develop compelling GTM collateral, and create a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Prospect and generate new business: Actively reach out to potential brand and agency partners, present our media offerings and value proposition, negotiate contracts, and generate new business.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers at advertising agencies and brands.
  • Collaborate internally: Work closely with the eCommerce teams, operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless GTM, campaign execution and client satisfaction.
  • Support and enable Supplier teams with new media offerings.
  • Track and report on sales performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on sales progress.
  • Contribute to sales process development: Help refine our sales processes and tools as the business scales.
