About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Denver, CO territory. This role focuses on promoting GCU's Online Division to local community colleges in Denver and neighboring cities. The position offers a starting salary of $75,000 per year with the potential for a six-figure income after five years. GCE provides a generous benefits package, including significant tuition assistance for employees and their families. New hire training will be conducted in-person at the Phoenix, AZ campus.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, written, and phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; volunteering for new challenges.
• High emotional intelligence, with the ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, and to drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high-impact partnerships for your territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email), championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Working independently to use out-of-the-box critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, guiding them towards a successful online learning experience.
