The Account Executive – Non‑Firm New is responsible for acquiring new small and mid‑sized business (SMB) customers by selling QuickBooks Desktop Hosting and a suite of complementary solutions. This role focuses on inbound, outbound, and assigned leads, consultative selling, and building strong pipelines to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. This is a quota‑carrying sales position ideal for a driven, organized, and customer‑focused professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably SaaS, cloud, or technology solutions
  • Experience selling to small and mid‑sized businesses
  • Strong phone‑based and email selling skills
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals
  • Experience working within a CRM (Salesforce or similar preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills

Responsibilities

  • Sell QuickBooks Desktop Hosting solutions to SMB customers.
  • Cross‑sell and upsell additional solutions including: Cybersecurity services, Microsoft 365, Transaction Pro Importer, QuickBooks Enterprise licenses
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Deliver product value propositions clearly and confidently via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Follow up with all assigned leads via phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
  • Maintain consistent contact cadence to maximize conversion rates.
  • Re‑engage stalled or inactive leads as appropriate.
  • Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date pipeline in the CRM at all times.
  • Manage opportunities through each stage of the sales process.
  • Forecast pipeline and expected revenue on a weekly basis.
