About The Position

Trimble is seeking high-energy Sales Professionals with strong sales skills, business acumen, and solid technical aptitude to join their Sales Team in the growing construction software industry. The company has openings for both New Logo Account Executive and Account Manager roles. In either position, the individual will be responsible for growing existing or new prospective Trimble Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Owner (AECO) software accounts. The role involves prospecting and developing new leads, understanding customer needs and pain points, and demonstrating how Trimble's solutions can address critical business needs. The Account Executive or Account Manager will guide prospects through their buying process, collaborating with Product Sales Executives and Sales Engineers. Key activities include finding, researching, developing, and closing leads/prospects for Trimble AECO software subscription products, with an emphasis on building rapport and relationships. Responsibilities include communicating with prospective customers via outbound calls and lead follow-ups, understanding customer needs to identify sales opportunities and build pipeline, staying updated on product information and industry trends, and developing sales and territory plans. The role also requires closing sales and achieving sales targets (quota).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience successfully selling SaaS solutions.
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota of more than $1M.
  • Exemplary presentation and communication across all levels of an organization.
  • Advanced selling capability that showcases your commitment to strategy, customer relations, negotiation and ability to close.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Google Suite products.
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills with customers/prospects as well as with internal resources.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States and/or Canada up to 50% of the time with an average of +/- 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior construction industry experience.
  • SaaS sales within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Finding, researching, developing, and closing leads/prospects for Trimble AECO software subscription products.
  • Building instant rapport and relationships by identifying and converting new and existing sales targets.
  • Communicating with prospective customers by making outbound calls and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customer’s needs and identifying sales opportunities by constantly building pipeline.
  • Keeping up with product information and enhancements as well as relevant industry updates through collaboration with our product sales executives and product marketing teams.
  • Research, develop, and maintain long and short range sales and territory plans.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets (quota).
