About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Major Accounts. This role offers unlimited upside earnings potential, autonomy to run a book of business, flexibility to make your own schedule, and work-life balance. The position involves selling human resources technology within a designated geographic territory to cultivate new business opportunities and drive strategic discussions around Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives for companies with 50 -- 999 employees. The Account Executive will manage complete sales cycles, sell ADP's suite of solutions (40+ products and services) to executives, and accurately forecast sales pipelines. ADP provides continuous sales training and the latest technology. The role requires selling in the field, documenting and managing multiple sales cycles through implementation, and offers industry-leading compensation, benefits, incentive trips, and awards. Leaders support career advancement and provide continual sales training.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
  • Upbeat, persistent style with the ability to cold call, manage time effectively, and present ideas clearly and professionally.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, natural leadership, resourcefulness, ability to thrive under pressure, and quick recovery from setbacks.
  • Ability to build relationships, live with integrity, and deliver on promises.
  • Two+ years of quota-carrying, outside business-to-business sales experience OR Three+ years of relevant experience in HCM, technology, business equipment, uniform, or software sales.
  • Military experience is valued for the discipline, commitment, and problem-solving abilities developed.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business within an assigned geography by closing sales, winning business, and reaching sales goals, working independently and collaboratively.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
