About The Position

Account Executives partner with Sales Executives and carrier partners to place new business, service existing clients, and build strong client and carrier relationships in the employee benefits space. This is a full-time, on-site position with hybrid options available, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Please note that this role may appear under a similar title on some of our recruiting platforms.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in employee benefits, HR, or a related field
Working knowledge of employee benefits (medical and ancillary plans)
Illinois Life and Health Insurance License
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
Strong customer focus with effective listening and follow-up skills

Responsibilities

Manage and service a book of market clients for group and individual benefits.
Conduct client needs assessments and provide strategic benefits guidance.
Act as the primary point of contact for client service, inquiries, and issue resolution.
Coordinate annual open enrollment, including plan updates, education, and employee support.
Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, third-party administrators, and compliance to ensure smooth administration and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate policy documentation in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
