About The Position

This is a dynamic sales role focused on managing the full sales cycle from A to Z. The position is within a growing Sales team that works with world-leading companies in every major industry to make the internet fast and secure. The role involves partnering with Global 500 companies, aligning Akamai solutions to business needs, building relationships, and maximizing product value through the global platform. The Account Executive will increase revenue generation by selling into large strategic accounts, collaborating with account teams across multiple business units in an innovative environment, and championing Akamai's brand to ensure trusted customer relationships and improve overall revenue position.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience managing large accounts and generating new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate solutions sales experience in the I.T. sector
  • High ethics, integrity, and personal motivation

Responsibilities

  • Delivering against a revenue and incremental booking target, engaging and participating in account review and planning sessions
  • Owning key relationships within strategic accounts and acting as the face of Akamai in front of customers
  • Partnering with the internal account team to grow revenue and increase adoption of Akamai services
  • Developing strategic sales, account plans and forecasting to maximize revenue opportunities through existing and new customers
