About The Position

The Account Executive I position gives you the opportunity to build Glo Fiber’s market position, concentrating on working with local small to medium sized business owners. This position is responsible for identifying and selling our Glo Fiber business solutions within our Glo Fiber markets. Shentel is a growing company offering products and services that use our state-of-the-art fiber optic network. Our Account Executives provide an excellent customer experience by connecting with business owners in the community. As a subject matter expert of Glo Fiber, you will guide customers to their total service solution through our consultative sales process!

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years selling business to business within the telecom industry
  • Reputation as a successful sales and customer service professional
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Passion to create customer experiences that will drive repeat business
  • Drive to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Agility to move between customer interactions and other daily tasks smoothly
  • Flexibility to work seamlessly with diverse groups and settings in the field
  • Awareness to use your time effectively
  • Resourcefulness to research on your own or work with others to resolve problems
  • Organization to document your daily progress

Responsibilities

  • Build Glo Fiber’s market position, concentrating on working with local small to medium sized business owners.
  • Identify and sell Glo Fiber business solutions within Glo Fiber markets.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience by connecting with business owners in the community.
  • Guide customers to their total service solution through a consultative sales process as a subject matter expert of Glo Fiber.
