Account Executive (Healthcare)

Taxo•New York, NY
•$200,000 - $240,000•Onsite

About The Position

As an Account Executive, you’ll help specialty clinics and healthcare groups understand where Taxo can make a practical difference. This is an individual-contributor sales role: you’ll own qualified opportunities through discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and signed agreement. You’ll also develop assigned accounts and work closely with commercial leadership, product, engineering, and implementation colleagues to set customers up for a successful rollout.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with a record of generating pipeline and closing new business. You can explain how you met your targets and what you learned from deals you lost.
  • You ask useful questions, listen carefully, and turn a technical product into a clear business case for practice managers, clinical leaders, and executives.
  • You can manage multiple opportunities, navigate competing priorities and buying stakeholders, and keep momentum through a clear next step.
  • You keep reliable CRM records, forecast honestly, and follow through on commitments. You know when to involve a colleague or seek approval.
  • You’re comfortable learning clinic operations, privacy expectations, and software buying processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into healthcare or another regulated industry is a strong plus.
  • Experience selling to specialty clinics or multi-location provider groups, selling AI or workflow automation, or working at an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Assigned Accounts: Progress qualified inbound, outbound, and partner-sourced opportunities. Prospect into assigned accounts through thoughtful outreach, referrals, and events, coordinating account ownership and activity with the wider team. Keep a healthy pipeline against your individual revenue goals.
  • Run Discovery and Demos: Understand clinic workflows, administrative bottlenecks, buying priorities, stakeholders, and decision processes. Tailor demonstrations to the customer’s needs and explain product capabilities accurately.
  • Build the Business Case: Connect the customer’s operational needs to measurable value. Prepare proposals, document scope and assumptions, and bring technical colleagues into evaluations when their expertise is needed.
  • Negotiate and Close: Own the commercial process through procurement and signature. Coordinate security and compliance questions with the right experts, negotiate within approved pricing and contract guardrails, and escalate exceptions before making commitments.
  • Keep Deals and Forecasts Clear: Maintain accurate CRM records, stakeholders, next steps, deal risks, and close dates. Provide a realistic forecast for your own opportunities and use feedback to improve conversion and deal progression.
  • Make a Clean Implementation Handoff: Confirm the signed scope, customer goals, contacts, dependencies, and promises with the implementation team. Support continuity as they take ownership of post-signature configuration, training, and go-live.
  • Improve How We Sell: Share objections, win and loss lessons, competitive insights, and customer feedback. Contribute to better messaging and sales practices, and pursue assigned expansion opportunities with the relevant customer teams.
