About The Position

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is seeking an Account Executive, Group Sales to drive revenue for the Colorado Avalanche and Mammoth, and potentially other KSE sports teams, through ticketing products for home games. This role involves selling group tickets, full season memberships, partial season memberships, and suite products. The Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining and growing a book of business related to group ticketing programs and partial season members. Execution of group programs and client interactions are required at each home game, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in the field.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Displays effective sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Must have transportation for appointments and ticket delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new group tickets for the Colorado Avalanche and Mammoth, with the potential to sell group tickets for the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rapids.
  • Sell full season, partial season, and suite products for the Colorado Avalanche and Mammoth, with the potential to sell these packages for the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rapids.
  • Prospect, network, set appointments, and aggressively sell all ticket packages.
  • Develop and execute group ticket sales promotions.
  • Participate in leadership discussions and planning of department initiatives.
  • Maintain and grow a large number of group ticket accounts and execute any associated fan experiences.
  • Handle a high volume of sales activities, including 150+ cold calls per week and 2-3 appointments per day.
  • Provide transportation for appointments and ticket delivery.
  • Meet or exceed defined sales goals.
  • Represent, actively promote, and sell the team at events.
  • Attend a minimum of 44 events per year, including Colorado Avalanche games, outside ticket events, ticket on-sales, chamber events, and other KSE team events.
