About The Position

The Account Executive in Food Service On Premise (FSOP) works with the integrated account team to manage key aspects of the business relationship with multiple customers. Develops and implements annual business plans that support strategic business objectives and act as system-wide experts on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy of all assigned customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, or a minimum of five years of progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required.
  • Prior experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization required.
  • Previous progressive responsibility with account management at a consumer goods organization.
  • Complex selling knowledge with proven ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs and key initiatives.
  • Knowledge of bottler/fountain environment, systems, and business development planning experience.
  • Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems.
  • Strong communication skills required (verbally, in writing, and presenting).
  • Proficient experience with computer applications such as SAP, Power BI , Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Microsoft TEAMS.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and enhances customer relationships through contractual negotiations, contract management and successfully sells in promotional programs that align with Heartland’s annual volume, revenue, and gross profit targets for each customer to include commercial activities and gap plans.
  • Reviews business results with customers at pre-determined frequencies and agrees on business enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with PRGM and brand partners to build and execute sales plans and craft forecast aligned with promotional calendars and proper execution of PMT pricing. Conduct post promotional and contract analysis measuring the performance and making timely updates to price, package, and contract language to meet financial objectives.
  • Responsible for management of pricing, contract payment and variable rebates via partnership with Revenue Growth Management (RGM) to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Functions as a company-wide customer expert and shares best practices to ensure Hometown alignment and execution of customer plans that deliver value for Heartland.
  • Manages communication with Hometowns, brand partners and bottler system to ensure constant application of strategies as outlined in the annual business plan.
