The Account Executive develops and retains business in the assigned region. This role involves developing new business through prospecting, cold calling, and making appointments. The Account Executive will build and maintain relationships with customer accounts through regular contact, including meals and entertainment. Collaboration with Operations is key to understanding customer needs and resolving issues. The role also includes developing account pricing, submitting pricing requests, creating weekly sales reports, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and ethical manner. A strong understanding of RRTS services is essential in all customer and prospect interactions. The position also assists with collections and participates in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, providing leadership through example and knowledge sharing. Other duties may be assigned.
