About The Position

Cardinal Education is a growing educational consulting company seeking its first dedicated Educational Sales Consultant to manage a high-volume, inbound sales pipeline. This role is crucial for scaling the business, allowing senior Educational Consultants to focus on client delivery. The position involves closing inbound leads for services such as mentoring, test prep, tutoring, and admissions, with ticket values typically ranging from $4,000 to $50,000+. The role requires building trust, navigating family dynamics, and articulating the value of high-ticket services. This is not a cold-calling role, as the company generates a significant amount of inbound interest, especially during peak season (August-December).

Requirements

  • Strong experience in education sales, admissions counseling, EdTech, or an adjacent industry.
  • Understanding of the nuances of the education industry and high-stakes academic metrics.
  • Proven ability in high-ticket sales, building credibility and trust with affluent clientele.
  • Comfort working within CRM systems like Salesforce to manage leads and track pipeline velocity.
  • Experience in consultative closing and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales cycle for primary services including Tutoring, Test Prep, and Private School and College Admissions.
  • Execute the current sales process and refine sales systems and CRM usage.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage existing leads and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Act as the initial guide for families, diagnosing educational needs and recommending appropriate services.
  • Cross-sell multiple services to families over their long-term engagement with Cardinal Education.
