Account Executive - Defence
About The Position
Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) is a Global Maritime Intelligence company delivering solutions to enhance decision-making across the maritime and logistics industry. Our platform, OCIANA, is designed to save lives, energy and the environment on a global scale using innovative data collection and analysis techniques. GSTS is building a team to support the continued development and commercialization of this capability, which will have a major impact on maritime risk and vessel efficiency globally. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a technology environment and/or 10 years in defence, government, or complex B2G environments (including maritime security, ISR, or operational technology environments)
- Proven ability to build relationships and advance high-value opportunities by engaging senior stakeholders across government, military, and industry
- Significant prior experience working within NATO, Five Eyes, or allied government environments
- Strong understanding of procurement and capture processes
- Experience leading capture, bid strategy, or program positioning activities
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check and provide two professional references.
- All candidates must be eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with primes, integrators, or NATO-related programs
- Experience in long-cycle, high-value deal environments
- Comfortable travelling up to 30% of the time
Responsibilities
- Develop, qualify, and advance opportunities across priority defence markets to drive revenue growth
- Build and manage relationships globally with key stakeholders and partners
- Define win strategies aligned to customer needs and procurement pathways
- Lead development of proposals, including structure, messaging, and pricing inputs
- Drive opportunities through complex, long-cycle procurement processes to contract award
- Support positioning of OCIANA within existing defence programs, primes and integrators
