About The Position

The Customer Base Account Executive (Emerging Markets) is responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned portfolio of existing Dayforce customers. This role focuses on identifying expansion opportunities, strengthening executive relationships, and helping customers realize greater value from their Dayforce investment. You will partner closely with Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, and Marketing to uncover business challenges, align Dayforce solutions to customer objectives, and accelerate adoption of additional products and services. The ideal candidate is a proactive, consultative seller with experience managing customer relationships and consistently exceeding sales targets in a SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful B2B SaaS sales, account management, or customer growth experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience managing and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and business discovery skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders, co-workers, managers and/or clients across the world.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling HCM, Payroll, HR technology, Workforce Management, ERP, or related SaaS solutions.
  • Experience selling into organizations with 100–1,000 employees.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll and HR compliance.
  • Experience working within a customer lifecycle or account growth model.
  • Demonstrated success growing product adoption and expansion revenue within existing customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Existing Customer Revenue: Own a portfolio of existing customer accounts. Identify, develop, and close cross-sell, upsell, and expansion opportunities across the Dayforce portfolio. Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer business priorities and growth initiatives. Build pipeline through proactive customer engagement, business reviews, and value-based conversations.
  • Develop Trusted Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and Executive stakeholders. Conduct executive business reviews to understand organizational priorities, workforce challenges, and technology roadmaps. Position Dayforce as a strategic partner by connecting customer needs to measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive Customer Success and Retention: Partner with Customer Success Managers and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction, product adoption, and long-term success. Help customers maximize the value of their Dayforce investment. Support customer retention and renewal efforts by strengthening engagement and identifying additional growth opportunities.
  • Manage Sales Execution: Maintain accurate forecasts and opportunity management within Salesforce. Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers. Stay current on HCM industry trends, the competitive landscape, and Dayforce product innovations.
