About The Position

The Account Executive, Clinical Workflow Solutions plays a key role in driving revenue growth for Instinct’s AI-powered documentation platform - ScribbleVet. This role is responsible for converting high-intent inbound leads into active subscribers, guiding prospects through the full sales journey from initial engagement through demo, trial activation, and purchase. Partnering closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams, the Account Executive builds trust with veterinary professionals, clearly communicates the value of AI-driven documentation, and ensures a seamless buying experience. By combining a high-velocity sales approach with strong relationship-building and product understanding, this role helps accelerate adoption of ScribbleVet and supports Instinct’s continued growth in the veterinary technology space.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally in a SaaS, health tech, or high-velocity B2C or B2B2C environment
  • Demonstrated ability to run a full inbound sales motion — from first contact and demo through trial management and close
  • Strong product demonstration skills with the ability to adapt your pitch to different audiences (solo DVMs vs. practice managers vs. clinic owners)
  • A consultative, low-pressure approach that builds trust quickly and guides prospects to confident decisions
  • Comfort managing a high volume of active deals simultaneously with strong organizational habits
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and a data-driven approach to pipeline management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can tailor your message to a burned-out veterinarian at 8pm just as effectively as a practice owner evaluating software for their team
  • Self-directed and accountable, with a genuine bias toward action and follow-through

  • Experience selling AI-powered or documentation tools
  • Background in product-led growth motions where trials or freemium conversion is a core part of the sales cycle
  • Familiarity with veterinary workflows, practice management systems (PIMS), or clinical documentation
  • Experience selling into veterinary practices or other healthcare settings

Responsibilities

  • Own and convert a high volume of inbound leads from veterinarians, practice managers, and veterinary teams across all practice types — general, emergency, specialty, and mixed animal
  • Conduct engaging, tailored product demonstrations that clearly connect ScribbleVet's features to the daily workflow challenges prospects face
  • Guide prospects from demo to free trial activation, ensuring they experience the product's value quickly and set them up for success
  • Drive trial-to-paid conversion through consistent, consultative follow-up — identifying friction points and helping prospects build internal momentum toward a purchase decision
  • Manage a fast-moving pipeline with accuracy and discipline, maintaining clean CRM records and reliable forecasting
  • Partner with the Customer Success and Product teams to share prospect feedback, flag common objections, and help refine the trial experience
  • Stay sharp on ScribbleVet's evolving feature set, competitive landscape, and the broader AI scribing category to handle objections and position the product with confidence
  • Identify expansion opportunities within practices already in trial, including multi-DVM and practice-wide adoption of the Practice Plan
  • Serve as a genuine advocate for the veterinary professionals you work with — understanding their workflow, their stress points, and what a meaningful time savings actually means to them
