About The Position

The Account Executive, Business Team Sales role at T-Mobile is for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals passionate about building stellar customer relationships and bringing T-Mobile's products and services to underserved markets. This is a true hunter role focused on meeting and exceeding monthly sales quota objectives by acquiring new accounts with small businesses (1-9 employees). The position also involves developing skills for career progression into the next level Account Executive, Business Sales role. Responsibilities include selling products, services, and solutions to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. The Account Executive will analyze customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, tailoring customer recommendations to negotiate and close business. This is a field sales role requiring the candidate to reside within the Tacoma, WA territory.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment.
  • Outside B2B sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and work leads in developed and underdeveloped territories through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  • Demonstrate T-Mobile’s value by selling to customer needs.
  • Recommend wireless solutions, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management with leadership.
  • Participate in product training and sales meetings.
  • Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Utilize sales force automation, manage sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
