About The Position

This role involves driving revenue and customer engagements for a leader in the Cloud Computing business, specifically focusing on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) by engaging with not-for-profit financial services organizations such as credit unions, pension funds, and mutual insurance organizations. These organizations are leveraging AWS for mission-impacting business strategies, including modernizing member experiences, delivering Agentic AI solutions, and migrating legacy infrastructure. The Account Executive will help shape and deliver on a strategy focused on customer success, building mind share, and driving broad use of AWS services with named, mission-driven financial services organizations. The ideal candidate will possess sales and/or consulting experience in the geographic market, a strong understanding of FSI-specific challenges, and established relationships within the customer base and the consulting and SaaS partner community. The role requires a strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments, has a strong technical interest, and a passion for financial services. A self-starter prepared to develop and execute an account coverage plan with high-growth revenue targets, and experience with strategic engagement at the CxO level and with IT leadership and architects, are critical for success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
  • Experience building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry (banking/credit unions, payments, capital markets or insurance)

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined customer base and within the financial services industry
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services specific to the CxO level.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce CRM.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
