About The Position

Testlio is hiring an Account Director (Bay Area) to focus on new logos and drive Testlio’s next wave of growth. This is a high-impact role for a proven New Business Developer who thrives in a remote, fast-changing, scale-up environment. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success selling software services or technical products to senior technology leaders and the drive to create and win new opportunities from day one. The role is part of the Growth team, offering the autonomy to run a book of business like a founder, supported by a collaborative, global team transforming digital product testing and launch. This position is ideal for individuals motivated by winning new business, shaping strategy, and accelerating their careers in a high-growth company.

Requirements

  • A proven record of consistently exceeding quota in selling SaaS, technology services, or consulting solutions to engineering and product leaders.
  • Strong prospecting and outbound selling skills; ability to find decision-makers, get meetings, and close new business.
  • Confidence leading executive-level conversations, handling complex negotiations, and closing six-figure+ deals.
  • A self-starter with the grit and drive to win; thrives on creating opportunities.
  • Resilient and adaptable; sees setbacks as fuel to push harder and smarter.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and storytelling ability; prospects trust you because you listen, understand their challenges, and connect the dots.
  • A collaborative mindset; partners with teammates to share insights, sharpen approaches, and celebrate wins while owning results.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities with digital product and technology executives across industries.
  • Take inbound leads from marketing and partners, qualify, advance, and close them.
  • Cold-call assigned high-value prospects.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline through persistence, research, and smart outreach.
  • Act as the CEO of your region, running it like your own company with autonomy to grow revenue, deepen client relationships, and drive retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer handoffs, focusing on winning new logos and expanding footprint.
  • Partner with Testlio’s VP of Strategic Development to sharpen target account lists and break into priority prospects with creative strategies.
