About The Position

This role is responsible for generating revenue through acquiring new customers and maintaining and growing existing accounts. This role focuses on selling Epic staffing solutions to Provider clients by understanding client needs, aligning the right consulting talent, and ensuring consistently high levels of service and support. Acting as a liaison between Tegria, our consultants, and our customers, this role ensures that staffing needs are met while delivering an exceptional client and consultant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, IT, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in quota-carrying sales, account management, or staffing within healthcare IT, professional services, or consulting environments.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas, including new customer acquisition, account expansion, and retention.
  • Experience selling healthcare IT services or staffing solutions, with direct exposure to Epic or other major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, MEDITECH).
  • Proven experience working with healthcare provider organizations, including interaction with IT, clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience managing the full staffing lifecycle, including intake of client requirements, candidate screening, submissions, interviews, placements, extensions, and offboarding.
  • Experience operating within Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and collaborating with MSPs and procurement teams.
  • Account management experience, including development and execution of account plans, opportunity qualification, and long-term relationship growth.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with recruiters, delivery teams, finance, and legal to support staffing engagements and client needs.
  • Proficiency using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate opportunity and account data.
  • Strong experience communicating with and presenting to senior leaders, including directors, VPs, and executives, in complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Have reliable internet access and sufficient speed to perform the job satisfactorily.
  • Have a secure, private remote office space.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear, timely, and proactive communication on all staffing requests.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with consultants through regular check-ins, performance feedback, and ongoing engagement.
  • Oversee consultant lifecycle activities, including onboarding, check-ins, performance management, time and expense approvals, and transition/offboarding planning.
  • Leverage consultant relationships within client organizations to expand our presence and identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain resource oversight throughout each engagement to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales quota by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Prospect within assigned accounts and new customer targets using outreach methods such as cold-calling, networking, referrals, and digital engagement.
  • Monitor vendor management systems (VMS) for new roles; evaluate to business fit and enter opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Work with VMS vendors on relationship building and maintenance requests.
  • Keep Salesforce in sync with VMS listings and make sure opportunities stay up to date with the latest details.
  • Create, maintain, and execute annual account plans focused on expansion, retention, and long-term relationship growth.
  • Coordinate across internal teams and relationship owners to deliver a seamless, unified client experience.
  • Participate in RFP responses, contributing account insights, staffing plans, and pricing details as needed.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce (or CRM) documentation throughout the entire sales and staffing workflow, ensuring complete and up-to-date data.
  • Collaborate on sales forecasts, market insights, and staffing trends during team meetings.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of staffing requests from intake through placement, ensuring clear communication and timely execution.
  • Review resumes and screen candidates to ensure alignment with customer needs, and skillset fit.
  • Submit qualified candidates to clients and coordinate all interview logistics, including scheduling and follow-up.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing coaching, expectations, and situational insights.
  • Support and track the creation, review, and submission of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Work Orders, ensuring accuracy prior to client and consultant delivery.
  • Manage contract extensions and ensure all required documentation is executed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer, project closeout documentation, and offboarding activities are completed for each engagement.
  • Provide updates and responses to Vendor Management System (VMS) representatives and customer stakeholders, assisting with VMS processes as needed.
  • Lead or participate in internal initiatives, process improvements, or ad hoc projects that support team and organizational goals.
  • Contributing to team objectives and outcomes through collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Performs other generally related duties as assigned.
