About The Position

Plans, develops, and implements customer strategies for the retention of existing business and growth within a specific customer. This role involves providing direction and developing growth and retention for client-specific programs, reviewing research to anticipate competition and market trends, and translating customer attitudes towards services and relationships. The Account Director will consult with development teams on market requirements and product features, communicate strategies across various departments (marketing, operations, communications, sales, employee satisfaction) to the executive team, and coordinate strategy with the corporate growth plan. Collaboration with other departments is key for developing relationships regarding pricing, positioning, and packaging, as well as evaluating and analyzing program results and presenting recommendations for strategic changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction and develops growth and retention for client specific programs.
  • Reviews research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate customer’s attitudes of services and relationship
  • Consults with development teams on market requirements and product features
  • Communicates strategies including marketing, operations, communications, sales, and employee satisfaction from assigned customer to executive team
  • Coordinates and aligns strategy with corporate growth plan.
  • Works with other departments to help develop relationship with regards to, pricing, positioning, and packaging
  • Evaluates and analyzes program results and presents recommendations for changes in strategy
  • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
