The Account Director is responsible for leading and operationalizing teams that profitably deliver work within a portfolio of accounts. This role requires a thorough understanding of the agency revenue and profitability model, ensuring work is completed within budget and owning the revenue and forecast for the brand. The Account Director will keep management informed of account status, problems, and plans, and will be responsible for ensuring tactical and strategic integrity, training the account team, and developing ongoing business. They will also identify and proactively respond to client needs, interpret market research data, and lead longer-term planning. This role involves client partnership and business development, including managing client relationships at all levels, identifying new organic business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and overseeing client MLR submissions to ensure compliance.
