Zayo is seeking an Account Director, SLED to support both existing as well as prospective Higher Education accounts in the Central Region, with a keen focus on Research and Education Networks (RENs), Quilt members, and large public universities in need of Zayo fiber infrastructure and connectivity services. Our Account Director, SLED is responsible for achieving sales and revenue growth targets through consistent account management activities as well as acquiring new accounts. Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals set by the leadership team through aggressive prospecting and selling. A demonstrated ability to succeed in an autonomous environment is key to this role. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the full suite of telecommunication services including fiber & network connectivity, managed services, security & voice communications with the ability to work on large, complex deals applying a consultative and trusted advisor approach.
