About The Position

The Account Care Leader (ACL) is responsible for leading the Account Care Specialist team in a proactive, mature, consistent, and flexible manner, supervising all aspects of their work. The ACL must possess strong leadership skills, maintain a high level of professionalism, and have excellent decision-making skills to guide the staff in serving customers, utilizing the computer system, and meeting deadlines. The ACL will collaborate closely with a multi-team environment, including customers, other Account Care Specialists, warehouse partners, and other leadership. Additionally, the ACL will be expected to work with and in other departments on projects to improve overall departmental efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Able to respond to customer questions concerning products, pricing, and order status.
  • Responds to facility regarding back-order reports, research, shortages and damaged item claims. Works closely with inventory control.
  • Display a knowledge of all products and services.
  • A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and personal computers.
  • Must get along with co-workers; maintain effective relationships with management staff, partners, and the general public.
  • Able to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this job (with or without reasonable accommodation) without posing specific or current risk of substantial harm to the health and safety of self and others.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in customer service or a call center environment.
  • Highschool Degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years’ experience in medical distribution field
  • 3+ years long-term care industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer questions concerning products, pricing, and order status.
  • Respond to facility inquiries regarding back-order reports, research, shortages, and damaged item claims, working closely with inventory control.
  • Lead and monitor the Account Care Specialist Team.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products and services.
  • Keep Account Care Specialists informed of daily activities and issues, proposing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, State & Federal Laws and regulations, and report violations to the appropriate Supervisor.
  • Carry out all duties with a "Commitment to Caring" and in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and philosophy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times.
  • Respond to change productively and handle additional projects as assigned.

  • Prioritize and complete tasks.
  • Participate in center/agency surveys (Licensure / JCAHO) and any subsequently required reports.
  • Attend and participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in the field and maintain current license/certification.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory in-service training.
  • Honor patients/residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints.

  • Report job-related functions/tasks that involve occupational hazards including exposure to blood and body fluids and others as necessary.

  • Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
