About The Position

Our Cyber Practice team is looking for a Commercial Account Associate to support a growing portfolio of Cyber and Specialty Lines clients across Ontario. This role works closely with producers, insurers, and clients to deliver responsive service, support placements, and manage renewals in a fast-moving and evolving risk environment. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial insurance fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in emerging risks, technology-focused businesses, and complex client solutions.

Requirements

  • Valid RIBO license or ability to obtain in short order required
  • Typically 3+ years of commercial insurance experience, ideally within Cyber, Professional Liability, Financial Lines, or Specialty Lines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Interest in emerging cyber risks, technology-focused clients, and evolving insurance solutions.
  • Proficiency with broker management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Results-oriented and client-focused, with a strong sense of accountability and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day servicing of Cyber and Specialty Lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, invoicing, and policy documentation.
  • Prepare and market submissions for Cyber Liability, Technology E&O, Privacy Liability, and related specialty coverages.
  • Coordinate with insurers, underwriters, and internal teams to support placements, renewals, and client service initiatives.
  • Review policies and coverage documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized client records and manage renewal timelines, outstanding documentation, and follow-up items.
  • Assist in gathering underwriting information related to cybersecurity controls and client risk exposures.
  • Stay informed on emerging cyber trends, market developments, and evolving client risks.
